Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines debuts atop The Hollywood Reporter’s maiden Top TV Personalities chart while husband Chip starts at No. 7.

The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities (defined as people who host their own show on TV) on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended May 30.

Along with the Fixer Upper stars, the chart this week features appearance from multiple late night hosts, pundits and more.

  • 5. Stephen Colbert

Colbert gains a hefty amount of new Twitter followers – 170,000 in all, up 130 percent. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert host shared one picture in particular – his #selfiewithasailor with U.S. service members in New York for Fleet Week.

  • 1. Joanna Gaines

Gaines, whose home remodeling show Fixer Upper airs on HGTV and recently wrapped its fourth season, rises in multiple chart metrics, including 75 and 62 percent in Facebook and Instagram followers, respectively, according to MVPindex. Some of the added attention stems from a rumor that she and her husband are in some sort of feud with Jonathan and Drew Scott, fellow HGTV stars whose TV shows often deal with the renovation of real estate – a report the Scotts have since denied.
