For a third time (and first since early December), Jonathan Van Ness reigns over The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Personalities chart, moving 2-1 on the Jan. 16-dated tally.

The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Jan. 8.

Van Ness leads three re-entries at Nos. 2 to 4: political pundits Jake Tapper, Lawrence O'Donnell and Chris Hayes, respectively.

Anderson Cooper and Gordon Ramsay also re-enter at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively, the former making the chart for the first time since September 2018.
