Kevin Hart Lands Eighth Week at No. 1 on Top Comedians Chart

Another week, another No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart for Kevin Hart, who rules for an eighth week on the chart dated July 26.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended July 18.

Below Hart, Kumail Nanjiani re-enters the chart for the first time since its inception, while Katt Williams and Gabriel Iglesias also re-enter.

The actor/comedian even chronicled the real-life romance detailed in the film with an anniversary post on July 14 featuring a photo of he and wife Emily V. Gordon the day they were married. He gains 67 percent in Instagram favorites, as well as 377 percent in Twitter likes, according to MVPindex.

In his latest clip, posted July 15, Hart looks to replace Bolt’s “to the world” pose with one of his own, which helps the comedian snag 4.4 million Instagram favorites and 138,000 new followers in the tracking week.
