Aziz Ansari breaks onto The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart dated Jan. 24 after becoming the latest person in the entertainment industry to be accused of sexual misconduct.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Jan. 16.

Ansari re-enters the chart at No. 9 despite not posting to his social media following the allegations from an article on the website Babe  (more on that below).

Kevin Hart rules the chart at No. 1 for yet another week (he’s led since its June inception), while D.L. Hughley, Mike Epps, Joe Rogan and Colleen Ballinger round out the top five.

The top post on Instagram by a comedian in the Jan. 10-16 tracking week came via Hart, who posted an edited photo of Dwayne Johnson with his child on his shoulders, except the baby’s head had been replaced with Hart’s. “This edit just made me die laughing,” he wrote in the caption for the post, which snagged 2.2 million likes. “The fact that I have white arms is killing me.”
