Kevin Hart Leads, Cheech Marin Debuts on Top Comedians Social Media Ranking

Marin spends his first week on the chart, which ranks the most popular comedians based on data from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, debuting at No. 8.

Kevin Hart, who had a busy week as a competitor in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 5, holds his lead on The Hollywood Reporter's Top Comedians chart dated Nov. 15.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Nov. 7.

One comedian debuts on the chart: iconic vet Cheech Marin, at No. 8. Plus, Ricky Gervaisre-enters at No. 10 after a week off the ranking. They replace Martin Lawrence and Gabriel Iglesias.
