Another week, another No. 1 for Kevin Hart, who spends his 23rd consecutive week atop The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart with a 19 percent boost in overall social media engagement on the ranking dated Nov. 8.
The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Oct. 31.
Following Colleen Ballinger’s debut at No. 2 on the Nov. 1-dated chart, she slips to No. 4, with D.L. Hughley and Joe Rogan moving ahead of her at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
Below the top four, Kumail Nanjiani (No. 8) and Gabriel Iglesias (No. 10) re-enter the ranking, replacing Sarah Silverman and Ricky Gervais.
