Kevin Hart rules the first edition of The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart, while the renewal of Silicon Valley helps star Kumail Nanjiani bow at No. 5.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended May 30.

DL Hughley, Ricky Gervais, Joe Rogan and Nanjiani round out the chart's first top five.

Observe how it is used. Stay true to love and try to be strong and kind.”
