Kumail Nanjiani Reaches New Peak on Top Comedians Social Media Ranking

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart tops the chart, which ranks the most popular comedians based on data from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, for a 12th week.

Another week, another No. 1 for Kevin Hart, who continues to rule The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart, leading for a 12th week on the chart dated Aug. 23.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Aug. 15.

Below Hart, Kumail Nanjiani reaches a new peak of No. 3, while Patton Oswalt re-enters the chart at No. 9; George Lopez, meanwhile, falls off the ranking.
