  • KCRW Presents The Bungalow Santa Monica's New Year's Eve Party

    Party by the beach and under the stars at the Westside millennial hot spot The Bungalow, which sits adjacent to the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica. The outdoor dance fete "just feels like an awesome house party rather than a bar," says Veep guest actor Arvin Lee. KCRW's DJ Jason Bentley will be spinning house, indie and electronic beats while guests enjoy a premium bar and small bites crafted by Fairmont Miramar's FIG Restaurant chef Yousef Ghalaini

  • E.P. + L.P.'s Rooftop Masquerade Party

    Sam Smith, Michael Bay, the Hemsworth brothers (Liam, Chris and Luke) and DJ Axwell of Swedish House Mafia are fans of this West Hollywood restaurant/bar, which is combining its popular rooftop patio and contemporary Asian-fusion cuisine for a New Year's rooftop masquerade ball. Expect live DJs and a seven-course dinner including caviar, lobster, duck and Australian Wagyu prepared by Aussie-Fijian chef Louis Tikaram. Tickets are available here

  • Sixth Annual Prohibition NYE

    Watch a 60-foot ball drop at midnight at the sixth annual Prohibition NYE party, where L.A.'s Union Station will transform and take guests back into the Roaring Twenties with jazz music, burlesque dancers, DJs and an open bar. 

    Proceeds from the event (which is being held in partnership with KCRW) will support the nonprofit Akola Project, which aims to empower women through income-earning opportunities and holistic skills.

  • Family New Year's Eve at L.A. Zoo Lights

    This New Year's Eve, the L.A. Zoo will light up into a winter wonderland for an all-ages party featuring reindeer, black-lit "insects," a disco ball "forest," DJ dance party and more. Families can purchase all-inclusive tickets including dinner, complimentary bubbly, carousel rides and a live broadcast of the Times Square ball drop in New York. Afterwards, guests can experience the seasonal L.A. Zoo Lights until closing. 

  • Thompson Playa del Carmen NYE Weekend

    Celebrate in the Riviera Maya with fire dancers, mermaids and musical entertainers at the Thompson Playa del Carmen resort's blowout New Year's weekend with multiple nights of partying and special dinner and breakfast detox menu offerings.

    Popular New York and L.A. restaurant Catch — an A-list favorite that hosted Kendall Jenner's 21st birthday along with multiple awards season bashes for the HFPA, Netflix, WME and Audi — will host a private dinner at their indoor/outdoor space within the hotel. Dinner will be followed by admission to the annual star-studded New Year's Eve party with endless champagne and a surprise headlining performance on the resort's 30,000-square-foot rooftop (Steve Aoki, Nas and Fetty Wap have entertained guests in previous years). 

  • Hakkasan Group's Las Vegas NYE Celebrations

    Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars and Drake were among the celebs who rang in 2017 at the Hakkasan Group's popular nightspots last year. This year, Bruno Mars is returning to host The Bank's celebration while Steve Aoki (Dec. 31) and Tiesto (Dec. 30) will be at Hakkasan, and 2 Chainz will be performing at 1 OAK, Calvin Harris at Omnia, and Lil Jon at Jewel.   • Estrella Sunset + MA Lounge's New Year's Eve Celebration 2017

    Indulge in an all-you-can-eat Italian market and open bar from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Sunset Blvd. hotspot before ringing in the New Year with a champagne toast in the establishment's secret Mother's Auxilary Theater lounge, where a secret key on your phone is needed for entrance.   • EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood

    Universal Studios is kicking off their inaugural EVE party with dancing, live music, fireworks and extended access to rides until 1 a.m. Hogwarts Castle will celebrate the holidays with "Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" while Universal Plaza will host three party "hubs" that will all converge to watch fireworks at midnight. The Grinch will also be on hand to celebrate the final day of "Grinchmas" with Who-ville's Whos.

  • SBE New Year's Eve Celebrations

    Raise a glass to the last night of the year at one of SBE's lounges, known for regularly hosting the stars. Enjoy a five-hour open bar with Top 40, hip-hop, house and mash-up beats at Doheny Room or opt for Hyde Sunset's masquerade ball, featuring a special performance. 

  • New Year's Eve at The Cape

    David Arquette and The Hill’s Whitney Port have been spotted at The Cape, a see-and-be-seen spot for holiday revelry. Major Lazer's Jillionaire will headline a dance party on the hotel's rooftop lounge, where DJs will be spinning music until 4 a.m. Guests can take in breathtaking views, sip specialty cocktails and reserve private cabanas during the festivities


  • TAO Group's New Year's Eve 2018

    Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom and Big Sean were among the A-listers who celebrated the opening of TAO Group's newest collection of Hollywood night spots earlier this year. Now the group is inviting guests to revel and stay through the New Year. Start with dinner and a champagne toast at over-the-top dining spot Beauty & Essex, TAO Asian bistro or The Highlight Room, which boasts 360-degree views. Lounges at Avenue and Highlight Room nightclubs will host a midnight countdown with live DJs and a three-hour open bar. And if you need a place to stay, Highlight Room is housed on top of the Dream Hotel, which is offering rooms at discounted rates for New Year's Eve.

  • Masquerade Ball at Wolfgang Puck's Spago

    Wolfgang Puck's Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills is holding its inaugural masquerade ball with an A-list-loved, three-course menu, live DJ and champagne toast. Following an over-the-top dinner including Maine Lobster, risotto, charred octopus ceviche and sushi, Spago's famous breakfast buffet will be available at 1 a.m. and the winner of the best mask will receive a bottle of vintage Dom Perignon

    Puck's other L.A. dining spot, CUT, will also offer a three-course New Year's Eve dinner, toast and a live DJ with both early and late seatings available. 

  • New Year's Eve at SLS Beverly Hills

    Curate your New Year's Eve experience at SLS Beverly Hills hotel with a "Saint" or "Sinner" New Year's Eve overnight suite experience that includes a prix fixe dinner at The Bazaar by Jose Andres complete with a (hangover-friendly) brunch the morning after, on New Year's Day

  • The Standard's New Year's Eve

    Spend the night at The Standard Hollywood's fourth annual Black & White Masquerade Ball or dance into the new year at one of The Standard Downtown's DJ sets, spread across four rooms. The themed ball will feature a live performance by Joey Arias along with a hosted premium bar and hors d'oeuvres. 

  • Toca Madera's Casablanca NYE

    The upscale spot where Hollywood goes for tacos and tequila is throwing a NYE celebration, Casablanca style. Enjoy the restaurant's full dinner and extensive list of seasonal cocktails or the pre-fixe tasting menu that's drawn Channing Tatum, Michael B. Jordan, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Or simply enjoy the surprise performances, live music and midnight champagne toast in store for the evening.  

  • Jeremy Hotel Rooftop Party

    Spend NYE with Jeremy at the hotel's rooftop party from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. where you'll be able to enjoy fireworks across the city. Power up for the night at the hotel's special dinner starting at 5 p.m. with dishes including deviled eggs with caviar, blue fin tuna tartar and wagyu beef carpaccio while a DJ spins starting at 8:30 p.m. 

    The "NYE with Jeremy" package will offer priority access to the rooftop and a $30 drink credit. 

  • New Year’s Eve at THE Blvd

    Ring in the new year with a four-course meal at THE Blvd, just off of Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive in the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel. THE Blvd will be offering a prix-fixe, four-course menu of its California-local, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, with fare including Petrossian Ossetra Caviar and Hudson Valley Foie Gras.
