A week after debuting on The Hollywood Reporter's Top Actors chart (dated Aug. 8), George Takei spends his first week at No. 1, ruling the Aug. 15-dated list.

The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Aug. 7.

Takei leads Lin-Manuel Miranda, Patrick Stewart, Will Smith and Seth Rogen on the latest tally, with Stewart spending his first week in the top 10.

Previous top 10 entrants Robert Downey Jr., Dwayne Johnson, Mark Hamill, Ricky Gervais and Zendaya round out the list.

See the top 10 below (and for the full 25-position list, check out the THR issue dated Aug. 15), and for more charts on The Hollywood Reporter, check out the Top Comedians and Top TV Personalities charts.
