A week after ranking on The Hollywood Reporter’s inaugural Top Actors chart at No. 2, Priyanka Chopra replaces Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson atop the newest tally.
The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended June 6.
Chopra rises 2-1 on the chart, gaining in multiple metrics, including 98 percent in Twitter mentions in the tracking week. Johnson and fellow Baywatch star Zac Efron rank at Nos. 2 and 9, respectively.
See the full top 10 below (and for the full 25-position chart, refer to the print version of THR dated June 14), and for more charts on The Hollywood Reporter, check out this week's Top TV Personalities and Top Comedians charts.

Chopra’s No. 1 coronation comes after a 20 percent bump in all conversation-related metrics (such as comments on Instagram and Facebook, plus handle mentions on Twitter). The actress participated in Gap’s new Bridging the Gap campaign meant to embrace individuality and optimism (alongside Wiz Khalifa, Jasmine Sanders and many more), writing on Twitter June 6, “The reality of our world today is that there are many bridges to cross & gaps to fill.”
