Meet Sheryl Lowe at Goop Lab
Santa Barbara-based jewelry designer Sheryl Lowe, who counts husband Rob Lowe, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani, Demi Moore and Oprah Winfrey as fans of her baubles, will appear at Goop Lab in Brentwood Country Mart today from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Lowe will showcase a curated assortment of her jewelry, including one-of-a-kind pieces and styles created just for Goop, and meet personally with customers. The designer's latest collection is described in a press release as "an expression of free spirit and strength, reflecting the energy and power found in nature’s raw elements."

Charlotte Tilbury's Pop-Up Gift Shop
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, British celeb makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury (who has tended to the famous faces of Kate Moss, Amal Clooney, and Kim Kardashian West) will debut the first U.S. pop-up shop for her beauty brand at The Grove, in partnership with Nordstrom.
On offer will be Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics, skincare and fragrances (with a focus on gifting), custom engraving to personalize presents, a photo booth, in-store activities, and makeup artists on hand for holiday touch-ups and advice. The Charlotte Tilbury gift shop will remain open for the month of December.

George Esquivel's Collab and Charitable Tote
Orange County-based footwear designer George Esquivel (who handcrafts shoes for everyone from Sylvester Stallone to Janelle Monae) has teamed up with The Beverly Hills Hotel on a three-piece collection in Italian leather printed with the hotel’s iconic Martinique banana leaf pattern, created for the hotel in 1942.
Out Thursday at shop.dorchestercollection.com and The Beverly Hills Hotel gift shop, the men's and women's capsule line consists of a unisex mule with a stacked wooden heel, lined with pink leather ($680), a $220 wallet and a $430 zip-top clutch. Each of the limited-edition pieces is meticulously crafted in Esquivel’s Buena Park studio.
In other news, Esquivel has designed a unisex Esquivel X Tote bag as a gift that keeps on giving — for each $149 bag sold, a family in Southern California will receive a backpack full of food every weekend for a year through the Buena Park-based non-profit Giving Children Hope. The totes are made by Esquivel of hand-cut canvas with leather straps. "Influenced by my childhood of living in and out of motels and not having enough to eat, I created this tote to give back," said Esquivel in a post on Instagram.

STRIIIKE Holiday Shop-In-Shop

LOHO Bride Sample Sale
LOHO Bride (the acronym stands for League of Her Own), which carries modern bridal brands like Houghton, Odylyne: The Ceremony and Cortana, is hosting a sample sale on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Gowns will be available in sizes 4 to 10 (including a few sizes over and under) for 40 to 90 percent off, and organized by racks of $100, $500, $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000. Though the sale starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 5 p.m., it's recommended that folks arrive early as the line has started as early as 8 a.m. in the past. No RSVP required; the event is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Aether and Jenni Kayne Airstream Pop-Ups
Taking cues from Jenni Kayne, Aether Apparel has set up a mobile holiday shop in an Airstream, refurbished with the help of French product and interior designer Thierry Gaugain. The 34-foot-long Airstream PanAmerica shop on wheels, peddling the men's and women's apparel and accessories collections, will be located in the park area of The Grove on Friday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 10. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Some of the brand’s more high-profile clients include Jay-Z, Darren Aronofsky, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis and David Schwimmer.

Modern Artisan Holiday Market
This Saturday, Dec. 2 marks the kick-off of the Modern Artisan Marketplace holiday pop-up shop at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. Featuring giftables and workshops from an array of small, emerging artisan brands (for a complete listing, click here), the marketplace was co-created by Ahyoung Kim (owner of the Pasadena shop Lux Tots) and Diana Ra (owner of Los Angeles-based fashion brand dRA that has a shop at ROW DTLA and counts Jennifer Lawrence, Beyoncé, and Sienna Miller as fans). Anine Bing Lingerie Relaunch
Today marks the relaunch of L.A. fashion designer Anine Bing's lingerie line, with twice as many styles, all under $100. The collection of bras, bralettes, panties and camisoles have been a hit in the designer’s stores and on net-a-porter, with a following that includes Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. And the new advertising campaign features real women, aged 20 to 60 years old, and their real, unretouched bodies.

Local Mercato Holiday Pop-Up Shop
Next Wednesday, Dec. 6, a holiday market by Local Mercato pops up at HD Buttercup in Culver City from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a percentage of proceeds donated to the non-profit Skid Row Carnival of Love to assist homeless Angelenos — to date, Local Mercato has raised over $10,000 for local charities.
Twenty-five local home, fashion and accessories brands will have their wares on hand (for a list, click here) at the event and Jane The Virgin's Justin Baldoni, founder of Skid Row Carnival Of Love, will mingle with guests and speak. Local Mercado will hold a second holiday pop-up market on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Griffin Club from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (for vendors and info., click here).
