  • Check Out Nordstrom's New Space Lab, And Catch the Tail End of the Winter Sale

    Olivia Kim, Nordstrom's vp of creative projects, has a brand new project up her sleeve.

    The program is a spin-off of her shop-in-shop SPACE boutique, which launched at several locations (including The Grove) and online in 2015 and spotlights some of the buzziest designers in the fashion industry (Vetements, Marques Almeida) that aren't necessarily your typical department store brands.

    Called the SPACE Lab, the new incubator project aims to showcase new up-and-coming designers online and in stores every season. For the inaugural season, Kim selected five designers: Eckhaus Latta, Vejas, Eric Schlösberg, A.W.A.K.E. and Dilara Findikoglu.

    While you're checking out the new offering, you can also catch the tail end of Nordstrom's annual Winter Sale, which features brands like Rag & Bone, Vince, DVF, Stuart Weitzman and Tory Burch at up to 40 percent off. Killing two birds with one stone has never been more chic. 

    SPACE Lab is now open at The Grove and online; the Winter Sale ends Sunday, Feb. 26.

  • Brazilian Designer Fabiana Milazzo Opens Shop on Melrose

    Brazilian designer Fabiana Milazzo has opened up her first shop in the U.S. right here in Los Angeles. 

    The designer, whose celebrity fans include Hannah Jeter and a bevy of Brazilian babes, is known for her heavily embellished, red-carpet ready gowns and minis, so a shop in Tinsel Town was only natural. Milazzo's store is in good company on Melrose Place, near Marc Jacobs, A.P.C. and The Row.
