On Tuesday, October 24, Platt Boutique Jewelry & The Kit Vintage celebrated their move to a new 2,000-square-foot location on Beverly Boulevard. Actress Kate Walsh stopped by and Emma Roberts popped by earlier in the day to get her engagement ring “fixed,” according to a store spokesperson.
Originally located on Rosewood Avenue in West Hollywood, Platt Boutique Jewelry was founded in 2005 by siblings Larry Plotitsa and Natasha Tsimmerman and stocks a curated collection of antique jewels from around the world; their customer list includes Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry, Vanessa Paradis, Emma Roberts, Mark Ronson, Benny Medina and Casper Smart (who both purchased jewels for Jennifer Lopez) and Melanie Griffith. Plotitsa’s wife Robyn Goldberg, who previously worked as a fashion editor and stylist, set up a selection of her vintage designer apparel finds as a shop-in-shop in 2014—pieces from labels such as Gucci, Chanel, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent have since been snapped up by Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Anne Hathaway, Roberts and Paradis.
