Shop Talk: Good American Pops Up at Americana at Brand; Oscar de la Renta Hosts Sample Sale

  • Oscar de la Renta Sample Sale

    Shop discounted Oscar de la Renta designs by creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia — womenswear, kids apparel, footwear, handbags, jewelry, bridal gowns, home accessories and more — at the L.A. sample and stock sale that kicks off on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The sale runs Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Good American Pop-Up Shop

    Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede's size-inclusive, denim-focused fashion brand Good American will pop up for the first time on the west coast at The Americana at Brand on Dec. 1 through Jan. 15. The shop will stock the label's denim, bodysuits, graphic-print T-shirts, track pants and logo accessories, with a series of special events and in-store appearances to be announced.

  • Kylie Cosmetics Now Available at Topshop

    In other Kardashian-Jenner retail news, Kylie Jenner rolled out her Kylie Cosmetics line this week at shop-in-shops within seven Topshop locations throughout the U.S, including The Grove shopping center. This marks the first brick-and-mortar store to carry the popular makeup range (known for its sell-out lip kits; Topshop will offer two kits exclusively) in addition to the brand’s e-commerce site, where the new holiday collection hits today, Nov. 22, at 3 p.m.

  • Disney x Kiehl's

    Our favorite silver-screen rodent, Mickey Mouse, is dressing up an array of limited-edition Disney x Kiehl's holiday gift sets ($22 to $74) this year. In addition, four dedicated sets ($29 to $45) give back by donating 100 percent of net profits, up to $100,000, to help provide meals to those in need through Feeding America.

  • Beverly Center's Holiday News

    For serious holiday shoppers, Macy’s will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 23, and beginning at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, when self-parking will be free all day, as it will on every Friday in December from 5 p.m. to close. Beverly Center ambassadors will offer gift cards, tote bags, parking validations and other gifts to randomly selected customers throughout the season and complimentary beverages will be available on Level 7.

    The shopping complex will also offer same-day package delivery within a 12-mile radius in under three hours for $5 and other amenities; guests visiting from over 50 miles away can pick up a Passport To Shopping with special discounts from retailers and restaurants, such as the just-opened Cal Mare restaurant from chef Adam Sobel for MINA Group; and Eggslut is coming next month.

  • Jacquie Aiche's New Bejeweled Headpieces

  • Small Business Saturday in WeHo

    This Saturday, Nov. 25 is designated Small Business Saturday by American Express (an effort started in 2010 to support locally owned businesses); in celebration, the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will host "Stars Shop Small for WeHo," a series of in-store events including appearances by former Academy Awards head writer Bruce Vilanch at a 2:30 reception at LASC men's boutique, 8592 Santa Monica Boulevard, and a 3:30 p.m. mimosa party at B2V Salon, 646 N. Doheny Drive, with actress Wendi McLendon-Covey. A percentage of purchases from participating retailers (listed here) will help support the construction of Stories: The AIDS Monument in West Hollywood.

  • First U.S. HPE Activewear Store Opens in Brentwood

    Style meets science in the performance-focused activewear brand Human Performance Engineering (HPE), launched by Nicholas Harris in London in 2013, that has an A-list following including Kim Kardashian West, Michelle Obama, Jennifer Aniston and Emma Stone. This week, the label has opened the doors of its very first U.S. brick-and-mortar store in Brentwood, carrying the men’s and women’s collections of tops, bottoms, outerwear and bra tops.
