    New York-based designer Lisa Perry — known for geometric patterns and Sixties-inspired silhouettes — has counted Katy Perry, Lupita Nyong'o, Jennifer Lopez, Lena Dunham and Hilary Clinton as clients. In honor of her brand's tenth anniversary this year, Perry will be in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to personally meet customers and introduce a 10-piece anniversary capsule collection, reissues of her favorite looks from the last decade, at Barneys New York, where her line is carried exclusively.

  • Breelayne Hosts First Sample Sale

    Rising L.A.-based sustainable fashion brand BreeLayne (fans include Emma Watson, Lorde, Alessandra Ambrosio, Emily Ratajkowski and Olivia Culpo) is holding its first-ever sample sale tomorrow Friday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Los Angeles.   • The Mighty Company's Jacket-Centric StoreĀ 

    Jacket-focused Los Angeles brand The Mighty Company, founded last year by Jessie Willner, opens the doors of its first brick-and-mortar location Saturday, Oct. 14, on Melrose Avenue. The direct-to-consumer label boasts Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Kate Upton, Demi Lovato and Emma Roberts as fans. On offer are jackets in classic styles such as bombers and bikers, crafted of luxe leather and tweeds from French fabric mill Mahlia Kent and embellished with special details and trims ($695 to $1095). The label also offers custom designs, personalized with hand-painted or studded names, words and portraits for $995 and up, with a three day turnaround time.
