Your guide to shopping in L.A. for the week ahead.
Chill out from a busy week with some retail therapy. Here, the pop-ups, sample sales and store openings in L.A. (and the O.C.) this week.
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has unveiled its spring 2017 Wear LACMA collection, offering new designs by accessories designer Kendall Conrad, jewelry designer Lena Wald, and Kelly Slater and John Moore's sustainable menswear brand Outerknown.
An initiative of the museum's Director's Circle, Wear LACMA is an art and fashion project that features unique edition pieces created by L.A.'s designers and inspired by the museum's permanent collection. For example, Conrad has created a line of leather goods and a jewelry item inspired by an ancient handled weight from Afghanistan that depicts primitive scorpions surrounding a fruit bearing palm tree.
Now available, the spring collection is sold at the LACMA store and thelacmastore.org, with all proceeds benefiting the museum.
