The 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards were handed out Sunday with Get Out dominating the ceremony, taking home best feature and best director for Jordan Peele.

During acceptance speeches, Frances McDormand said she felt liberated to curse while accepting her best actress award, whereas Timothee Chalamet promised he would continue making independent films after winning for Call Me by Your Name.
