The seventh annual Streamy Awards nominations were announced Tuesday morning, and it was longtime vlogger Casey Neistat who led the morning. Neistat, who first began posting to YouTube seven years ago, garnered six nominations, a tie with Verizon's go90 high school dramedy Mr. Student Body President.
Other top nominees, announced via the Streamy Awards Twitter account, include comedian Lilly Singh, DeStorm Power's YouTube drama series Caught and Steven Suptic's Sugar Pine 7 show, which each received four nominations.
This year's Streamys, produced by online video blog Tubefilter and Dick Clark Productions, include new categories for comedy and drama series. The show has also done away with gender distinction in its performance categories.
Last year's show received over 750,000 views on YouTube. More than 6.8 million votes were cast for the audience choice categories.
Winners will be determined by a blue-ribbon panel made up of talent, executives and other online video industry experts. The show will be held Sept. 26 at the Beverly Hilton and will live stream on Twitter beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET.
