Tamera Mowry jumps 4-1 to spend her first week at No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Personalities chart, making the leap on the ranking dated Nov. 22.
The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Nov. 14.
Mowry, whose twin sister Tia debuts at No. 15 on the Top Actors chart (see the Hollywood Reporter issue dated Nov. 22) after announcing her second pregnancy, reaches No. 1 in place of Fixer Upper’s Joanna Gaines, who drops to No. 6.
Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay returns to No. 2 (5-2), Chris Hayes moves into the top five (7-5) and Stephen Colbert (No. 13) and James Corden (No. 14) return to the chart, replacing Bill Maher and Jimmy Fallon.
