Longtime comedy star Tommy Chong lands at No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart for the first time, ruling the July 18-dated ranking.

The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended July 10.

Chong is the second straight actor to lead the chart for their first week, replacing Terry Crews, who ruled the July 11-dated tally.

Alyssa Milano reaches a new peak of No. 2 behind Chong, while Will Smith, Mark Hamill and Ricky Gervais round out the top five.

See the top 10 below (and for the full 25-position list, check out the THR issue dated July 18), and for more charts on The Hollywood Reporter, check out the Top Comedians and Top TV Personalities charts.
