Before the 2018 Video Music Awards are handed out Sunday, Aug. 20, watch some of the nominated videos below.

  • "No Tears Left to Cry"

    Ariana Grande

    "No Tears Left to Cry" is nominated for video of the year, best pop, best cinematography and best visual effects. Grande is also nominated for artist of the year.

  • "Finesse (Remix)"

    Bruno Mars ft. Cardi B

    "Finesse (Remix)" is nominated for video of the year, song of the year, best collaboration, best choreography and best editing. Bruno Mars and Cardi B are also both nominated for artist of the year. Cardi B is also nominated for best new artist, best hip-hop for her track "Bartier Cardi" featuring 21 Savage and best collaboration and best Latin for Jennifer Lopez's "Dinero" with DJ Khaled.

  • "Havana"

    Camila Cabello ft. Young Thug

    "Havana" earned four nominations for video of the year, song of the year, best pop and best choreography. Cabello is also nominated for artist of the year.

  • "APES**T"

    The Carters

    Beyonce and Jay-Z, also known as The Carters, earned eight nominations for their "APES**T," including video of the year, best collaboration, best hip-hop, best cinematography, best direction, best art direction, best choreography and best editing. Beyonce also earned a nomination for her featured work on Eminem's "Walk on Water."

  • "This Is America"

    Childish Gambino

    "This Is America" scored seven nominations, for video of the year, video with a message, best cinematography, best direction, best art direction, best choreography and best editing.

  • "God's Plan"

    Drake

    Drake's "God's Plan" scored five nominations, for video of the year, song of the year, best hip-hop, best direction and video with a message. Drake is also nominated for featuring on Migos' "Walk It Talk It" in addition to a top honor of artist of the year.

  • "New Rules"

    Dua Lipa

    Dua Lipa's "New Rules" earned a nomination for song of the year. Her "IDGAF" video earned a best choreography nomination, and Dua Lipa earned a third for best dance with her Calvin Harris collaboration, "One Kiss."

  • "Perfect"

    Ed Sheeran

    "Perfect" earned three nominations, for song of the year, best pop and best direction. Sheeran is also featured on Eminem's "River," which earned a best cinematography nomination.

  • "rockstar"

    Post Malone ft. 21 Savage

    Post Malone is nominated for artist of the year and song of the year for "rockstar." 21 Savage is also featured on Cardi B's "Bartier Cardi," which earned a best hip-hop nomination.
