12 Monkeys star Amanda Schull is ready to moonlight.

The actress, who has the second season of the Syfy series coming, has booked a major arc on TNT drama Murder in the First.

On the cop drama created by Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal, Schull will play Melissa Danson, an assistant attorney general described as intelligent and dangerous in the courtroom. Danson's take-no-prisoners attitude has been paramount in making her one of the attorney general's top prosecutors. When assigned a highly publicized case, she proves no risk is too great the reward.

Schull's credits include Suits, One Tree Hill and feature J. Edgar. She is repped by Innovative and Sweeney Entertainment.
