Mary Lynn Rajskub is clocking in for more 24.

Like former star Kiefer Sutherland and much of the show’s original writing staff, Rajskub will be reprising her role as CTU systems analyst and Jack Bauer confidante Chloe O’Brian in 24: Live Another Day. The Fox limited series, which will pick up Bauer’s story several years after the events of the final season, is set to bow in spring 2014.

Rajskub joined the Fox thriller in the show’s third season, and was behind only Sutherland in the number of 24 episodes in which she appeared over the course of the series’ eight-season run from 2001-2010. “I am thrilled to be working with Howard [Gordon] and the writers again -- and, of course, Kiefer. There’s a lot more room to grow in my character … I’m going to start sharpening my computer skills now,” Rajskub said in a statement announcing the news on Thursday.

Live Another Day is a production from Gordon’s Teakwood Lane Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Sutherland will serve as executive producers on the effort, part of Fox's big push for high-profile event series to lure both talent and viewers in an increasingly crowded landscape.

Rajskub, whose other credits include Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama and Road Trip, is repped by Innovative Artists and Levity Entertainment Group.
