ABC Family is adding two more to the cast of its upcoming Moral Instruments TV adaptation.

Matthew Daddario (Delivery Man) and Isaiah Mustafa (Horrible Bosses) have joined Shadowhunters, the network announced Friday.

Based on the best-selling young adult fantasy book series, Shadowhunters follows Clary Fray, who finds out on her 18th birthday that she is not who she thinks she is, but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters — human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend, Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold.

Daddario will play Alec Lightwood, who joins Jace and his sister, Isabelle, in their pursuit of demonic creatures. Tortured by his romantic love for Jace, his adopted brother, the eldest Lightwood has a strict moral code that forces him to follow the letter of the law. Kevin Zegers played Alec in the 2013 Mortal Instruments film.

Mustafa will portray Luke Garroway, an NYPD detective investigating a string of "demonic" murders. He feels a fatherly instinct to protect Clary, a strong affection for Jocelyn and has secrets of his own. Formerly a strong and powerful Shadowhunter, Luke is now the thing he once hated — a werewolf pack leader. Luke was played by Aidan Turner in the film.

The two join the previously cast Dominic Sherwood (Jace), Alberto Rosende (Simon), Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle) and Katherine McNamara, who will play the lead role of Clary Fray.

Constantin Film will produce, and Ed Decter (Helix, Unforgettable, The Client List) is on board to serve as showrunner and executive producer. McG is on board to exec produce and direct the first episode. Shadowhunters is being eyed as a 13-episode drama with a premiere date not yet determined. Production begins this month in Toronto.

Daddario is repped by Innovative Artists and Harvest Talent Management. Mustafa is repped by Rebel Entertainment Partners and Morris Yorn.
