ABC, Mark Gordon Adapting Family Legal Drama 'Fina Ludlow' (Exclusive)
ABC is looking for a new family legal drama.
The network is teaming with prolific producer Mark Gordon and The Glades creator Clifton Campbell to adapt Ingrid Thoft's Fina Ludlow book series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Inspired by Thoft's book series, the untitled drama is described as a sophisticated and emotionally complex family drama set in the Ludlow family business: a high-powered law firm in Chicago, Ill. The story is told through the black sheep of the family, 31-year-old Fina Ludlow, the brash, intelligent, hot-mess daughter of Carl and Elaine Ludlow, who left Harvard Law School and found her "voice" as the firm's brash and controversial legal investigator.

comedies Unfunctional and Plus One set up at ABC, which also has legal drama Pariahs, detective drama Las Reinas as well as an untitled Quantico project. The company also has the untitled Heidi Niedermeyer and Elena Crevello project in the works at NBC.
