Adult Swim has given the green light to The Jellies, a new animated created by Tyler, the Creator.

Alongside co-creator Lionel Boyce, the series will feature both music and voice work from the popular rapper and producer. The quarter-hour comedy, set to premiere in the summer, follows a family of jellyfish and their 16-year-old human son who suddenly realizes that he's adopted.

It's another TV project for Tyler, who just set another series at Viceland. In addition to Tyler and Boyce, voices on The Jellies will be provided by Phil LaMarr, Blake Anderson, AJ Johnson and Kevin Michael Richardson, among others.

The current roster of Adult Swim originals includes Samurai Jack, Mike Tyson Mysteries, Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies, Mr. Pickles and the recently announced new series Apollo Gauntlet and Hot Streets.

The network, which shares its air time with Cartoon Network, will present the rest of its lineup alongside the other Turner networks at the cable group's upfront Wednesday in New York.
