Casey Johnson and David Windsor will develop original projects under the two-year pact.

ABC is staying in business with Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23's Casey Johnson and David Windsor.

The duo, who most recently co-executive produced the Krysten Ritter and James Van Der Beek comedy, have inked an overall deal with ABC Studios, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Under the two-year pact -- which includes an option for a third year -- the writing team will develop original projects for the studio and board an ABC series.

The sought-after pair rose through the ranks after starting as staff writers on ABC's short-lived comedy Two Guys and a Girl, co-producing the former WB Network's What I Like About You, serving as supervising producers on ABC Family's Greek and co-exec producing ABC's Mr. Sunshine and Fox's Breaking In.

At the studio, they join Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's Fake Empire, Cold Case's Mark Pellington, duo Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, The Office's Daniel Chun and Mark Gordon, among others.

ABC canceled the critically praised but ratings challenged sophomore comedy Apartment 23 earlier this season.

Johnson and Windsor are repped by ICM Partners.
