'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Cast Invades 'Kimmel' to Play 'Family Feud' (Video)
Six of Avengers: Age of Ultron's familiar faces assembled on the Jimmy Kimmel Live couch.
The talk show was graced by the appearances of Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner on Monday, where they chatted with host Jimmy Kimmel about the highly anticipated Marvel sequel and debuted a number of exclusive clips from the film.
At the start of the show, the stars played a racy game of telephone. Let's just say that one or more of them might be in need of some ointment.
Kimmel wanted to know which of them was known to have the most fun off-set, and Downey had two individuals in mind — unless it's eggs benedict you're after. "I'm in charge of brunch, and then Pluto, Lord of the Underworld [points to Renner], over there takes over after that, but Chris [Evans] is definitely up for just about anything," Downey said.
If you've ever wondered what the stars feel about the often-bizarre fan art that is created about them, you're about to find out, as they got a firsthand glimpse at some choice selections.
The stars then took questions from fans who appeared on a large TV screen, including one particularly devoted supporter by the name of Clark Gregg (Coulson), who shocked his co-stars with his appearance. He then asked if they planned to join him in moving to TV, a reference to his ABC drama Agents of SHIELD, but they didn't sound particularly enthused about the idea.
Downey mentioned that the film's shoot was particularly memorable, as Johansson was pregnant during it. Upon hearing this, the Black Widow actress fired back with: "It's just great to wear a tight-fitting cat suit when you're humongous — everybody wants to do that."
The gang reconvened on a mockup of the Family Feud set, where they split into two teams. The most surprising moment may have come with Ruffalo's response for a profession that involves wearing tights.
Much as many of the best Marvel-movie moments happen after the credits, so too did one of the night's highlights, in which Ant-Man's Paul Rudd joined Kimmel to get destructive.
