Stephen Colbert revived his Late Show segment "Just One Question" on Wednesday night to pepper actors from The Avengers: Endgame with alternately nerdy and silly questions.

As per tradition, The Late Show's staff posed the questions and occasionally elicited lively responses from their respondents: Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Don Cheadle.

The first query went to Johansson, the film's Black Widow: "If you could have the superpower in real life, what would it be?" one person asked. "I think I would want the power to just get rid of all the garbage, so a superhero garbage man?" she said.

Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, was asked who the Avengers' biggest enemy was. "Honestly, I'd say chafing," he joked.

Brie Larson answered "Compassion" to a question about what Captain Marvel's secret weapon was for taking out Thanos. When a staffer expressed some skepticism about her response, she said, "No, I'm going to punch him into the sun."

When asked if Captain America would ever run for president, Evans said, "I think he does more outside the system, like Oprah."

When one person asked about Endgame's conclusion, the Late Show bleeped out the response.
