ABC Sets 'Bachelorette' Return, 'Mistresses' Series Debut

Based on a British drama of the same name, Mistresses finds four women -- Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan -- with scandalous romantic lives, caught in storms of excitement and self-discovery, secrecy and betrayal, and at the mercy of the complex relationships they’ve created.

ABC has set the premiere dates for returning series The Bachelorette and new soap Mistresses.

The Bachelorette will return to the schedule beginning Monday, May 20 with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m., before moving to its regular 8-10 p.m. time slot the week after.

The identity of the bachelorette will be revealed during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special on Monday, March 11 at 10:01 p.m.

New soap Mistresses, with an ensemble cast led by Alyssa Milano, Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes and Jes Macallan, will premiere May 27 at 10 p.m. following Bachelorette.

Mistresses is based on the U.K. series, centered on the lives of a group of four women, each on her own path to self-discovery.
