Bag of Bones, A&E's upcoming four-hour miniseries starring Pierce Brosnan and The X-Files' Annabeth Gish, is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. The first teaser and behind-the-scenes footage from the small-screen adaptation has hit the web.

The nearly minute-long teaser captures the creepiness of the story and shows a young girl underwater before an external force forces her to snap. "Beware the lake," the promo warns.

Brosnan plays a man who is unable to stop grieving for his wife, who died suddenly, and after returning to the lakeside retreat they one shared, he inadvertently gets involved in a local custody battle -- while having nightmares about his dead wife (Gish). Melissa George also co-stars.

The Sony TV-produced miniseries will air over two nights in the fourth quarter of this year. Executive producers Mark Sennett, Mick Garris, Stewart Mackinnon and Craig Sheftell. Brian Gary and David Davoli serve as co-executive producers.
