BBC America has renewed Orphan Black for a second season.

Orphan Black, currently airing its freshman run as part of BBC America's "Supernatural Saturday" lineup, will return for a 10-episode second season in 2014.

The conspiracy clone thriller, produced by Temple Street Productions, stars Tatiana Maslany and was co-created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett.

“Tatiana Maslany has delivered one of the year’s standout performances," said Perry Simon, general manager, channels at BBC Worldwide America. "We’re excited to commission a second season from the talented team of Graeme, John and Temple Street Productions, and we can’t wait to see who Tatiana shows up as in season two.”

“We’re delighted with the second season order for Orphan Black and want to thank everyone at BBC America, BBC Worldwide and Space for their support and commitment to our show,” said David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, executive producers of Orphan Black and co-presidents of Temple Street Productions. “We’re thrilled to continue this journey with such a strong team and fantastic cast, led by the ridiculously talented Tatiana Maslany. A huge thanks to the fans for their steadfast support of the show. We’re looking forward to giving every one of them more Orphan Black.”

Maria Doyle Kennedy, Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce, Kevin Hanchard and Michael Mando co-star in Orphan Black.

The cable network, home to Doctor Who and The Nerdist, announced the renewal early Thursday afternoon on Twitter: "JUST ANNOUNCED: @BBCAMERICA Original Series, @OrphanBlack, Renewed for Second Season! #OrphanBlack."

The season one finale airs June 1. The DVD and Blu-ray sets of Orphan Black's first season will hit stores July 16. BBC America will roll out Copper's sophomore season June 23.
