Millennial-focused media brand Betches is getting the TV treatment.

An animated television series based on the young women's humor website and popular Instagram account is in the works at Comedy Central — and Emma Roberts is set to voice one of the characters. Sources say there is a script commitment in place, though the network declined to comment. Betches is described as an irreverent show about three millennial women navigating their 20s in New York, calling shit out as they see it and daring to say out loud what everyone is already thinking.

Newcomer Rachel Koller will write the script for the project, which hails from Bunim/Murray and All Screen Productions, a division of Access Entertainment. Her and Roberts will executive produce alongside Betches founders Jordana Abraham, Aleen Kuperman and Samantha FishbeinBunim/Murray's Gil Goldschein and Kesila Childers; and All Screen Productions' John Cheng, with Carli Haney producing.

The Betches brand is best known for its snarky Instagram account with 6 million followers that caters to young females who are "too afraid to share the thoughts that are really running through their head," their site reads. In addition to its social media channels, Betches consists of a website, an online store (that sells cards, candles and pillow cases) and books like The Betches: I Had a Nice Time and Other Lies... and Nice Is Just a Place in France: How yo Win at Basically Everything.

Roberts is repped by CAA and Sweeney Entertainment, while Koller is repped by WME, Principato-Young and Morris Yorn. Abraham, Kuperman and Fishbein are repped by Paradigm and Greebel & Greebel.
