The Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik has a second gig.

The actress behind Amy on the CBS hit has been tapped to co-host TV Land's Candid Camera revival, the cable network announced Thursday.

The original series first debuted on TV in 1948 and ran, in various incarnations and with a number of hosts, through 2004. TV Land will revive the series for a 10-episode run set to debut Aug. 11. The series, as its title implies, hides cameras to capture the reactions of ordinary people being confronted with unusual and often challenging situations. The payoff comes with the show's trademark tagline: "Smile, you're on Candid Camera."

Former Blossom star Bialik will co-host alongside the show's longtime host Peter Funt, son of the show's creator and original host, Allen Funt.

The series will debut Monday, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m., with original episodes also airing Aug. 12, 13 and 14 in the same time slot. It will shift to its regular period on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. starting Aug. 19, with encore episodes airing throughout the week at the same time.

"I am very excited to be working with TV Land, Electus and the legendary Peter Funt on the newest incarnation of the original feel-good reality show, Candid Camera," Bialik said. "Since I was a child, I have found it impossible to not smile when I hear, 'Smile! You're on Candid Camera!' and I am honored and tickled pink to get to be a part of this amazing franchise."

Electus' Ben Silverman, TV Land president Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox executive produce.
