'Big Brother 18': Fifth Evicted Houseguest Reveals Which Season 17 Vets She Wanted to Return
Big Brother host Julie Chen hasn't been shy this season about comparing season 18's Tiffany Rousso and Paulie Calfiore to their famous siblings. "She's emotional just like her sister! He's a flirt just like his brother!" Chen said earlier this season.
Yes, they look like their siblings Vanessa Rousso and Cody Calafiore. Yes, Tiffany cried almost as much as season 17's professional poker player did. Yes, Paulie might flirt his way to the final two like his younger brother Cody. But with this season's semi-twist of having two former players return, the biggest question is why didn't these two branches of the Big Brother family tree stick together?
Paulie seemed to have a bit of a sibling rivalry, and because of that Tiffany was sent packing. The Hollywood Reporter spoke with the latest evicted houseguest about which season 17 players she wished would have returned and, of course, compares her game to her sister's.
Da’Vonne and James were chosen as the two returning houseguests from your sister’s season. Had it not been them, which two players from Vanessa’s season (besides her) would you have liked to play with? Why?
I have very good relationship with Audrey [Middleton] and would love to work with her. Or Liz [Nolan], because she plays a strong game.
How do you rank your game compared to your sister’s as well as other players who have played before you? Explain.
Although we have similarities, our games were definitely different. She’s a competition beast and also an amazing strategist. I think I had a unique game.
Would you play the game again? Who from this season would you want to return with and why?
Yes, I would play again. I’d say Bridgette – she’s a very strong competitor and smart and loyal.
Who do you think has the best shot at winning the game and who do you want to see win? Why?
I think Nicole is doing an amazing job and has a shot at winning, and so does Paulie. I want to see Frank win. He’s been the underdog for two seasons; he’s not a bad guy. He tried to save me this season. The only reason we were gunning after each other was because Day was feeding us both lies.
In terms of entertainment and the amount of game play, how do you think this season ranks compared to others?
I think it’s like Big Brother on steroids this season. There are such big personalities and people are playing really hard. I’m sure it’s one of the more entertaining seasons.
