Billy Eichner's 'Difficult People' Renewed for Second Season at Hulu
Hulu is staying in business with people known to be difficult.
The streaming service has renewed Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner's comedy, Difficult People, for a second season.
The Universal Cable Productions comedy, originally developed by USA Network, counts Amy Poehler as an executive producer. The second-season order is for another group of 10 episodes.
While the streaming service does not release viewership data, Difficult People opened to largely positive reviews, and it no doubt received an assist from Eichner's (Billy on the Street) rising profile.
“We have been big fans of Difficult People from day one and are so happy to have Julie and Billy be part of the Hulu family. I cannot wait to see what a whole new season will bring and am pleased to bring more of their hilarious brand of comedy to fans,” said Hulu head of content Craig Erwich in a release announcing the pickup.
