Brad Garrett is returning to CBS.

The Everybody Loves Raymond grad has been tapped to star in the network's journalism drama pilot The Get, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The project centers on a team of tireless internet journalists who pursue and expose stories of injustice using their unconventional investigative techniques in today’s anything-goes world of reporting.

Garrett will star as Bill, a hardworking reporter who has spent his life working up to the position of executive producer at The Get.

The casting brings the actor back to CBS following roles in Everybody Loves Raymond, for which he won three Emmys, as well as David E. Kelley's The Crazy Ones. Garrett's credits include FX's Fargo and features Finding Dory and Night at the Museum. He is repped by UTA, Management 360 and attorney Michael Gendler.

Bridget Carpenter (11.22.63) will pen the script and executive produce the CBS Television Studios drama alongside James Strong, who will direct the pilot.

Garrett joins a cast that also includes Emayatzy Corinealdi as a fearless journalist who never backs down from a story she cares about.
