Bunim-Murray Productions co-president and Keeping Up With the Kardashians executive producer Jeff Jenkins has exited the unscripted production company.

His departure was announced late Tuesday in a memo to staff: "Jeff Jenkins has decided to leave Bunim/Murray Productions to pursue a new chapter in his life. He will be taking advantage of the growing opportunities in television and digital platform distribution."

Jenkins was promoted in August 2016 to co-president of entertainment at development (alongside Julie Pizzi) at the company, reporting to Bunim-Murray CEO Gil Goldschein. In his post, he oversaw development for celebrity reality series and docuseries, including E! franchises Keeping Up With the Kardashians and all of its spinoffs, Total Divas and Mariah's World. Sources note that Jenkins and Goldschein did not see eye to eye when it came to the direction of the company.

Jenkins was a 16-year staffer at Bunim-Murray, previously serving as exec vp at the company. He joined BMP when its roster consisted of Real World and Road Rules and helped expand its roster to include the Kardashians franchise.

Bunim-Murray has steadily increased its volume since it was acquired in 2010 by France's Banijay Group — with Jenkins and Pizzi tapped with expanding the company's roster and reach.

Goldschein was promoted from president to chairman and CEO of BMP in April 2015 after founder Jonathan Murray exited the company.
