Catherine Tate to Return to 'The Office'

The British actress will reprise her role as Nellie Bertram in the second half of the season.

Catherine Tate is returning to Dunder Mifflin.

The British actress is set to reprise her role as Nellie Bertram on the NBC workplace comedy in the second half of the eighth season.

The reason for her return? Nellie is hired by friend and chairman of the board Jo Bennett (Kathy Bates) as a imsguided special projects manager working directly for the corporate office and who enjoys Bennett's favoritism.

Tate first appeared on The Office in last season's finale as one of the potential candidates who were interviewing for the regional manager position once filled by Michael Scott.

Tate's credits include BBC's The Catherine Tate Show and Doctor Who, as well as the features Gulliver's Travels and Monte Carlo.
