A new face is coming to Firehouse 51.

Chicago Fire has tapped Friday Night Lights alum Dora Madison Burge for a recurring role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Burge will play Jessica "Chili" Chilton, the new paramedic replacing Mills (Charlie Barnett), who left last week to move to North Carolina with his family. Chili will have a tough time winning over the Firehouse 51 family, and particularly her new partner Brett (Kara Killmer), all still in mourning over Mills' departure.

"They like each other, but there's a big difference in that Brett is still a small-town girl who is in the big city for the first time and who is getting her feet under her. Here comes a girl who has more life experience. She's from Chicago so she lives a little faster," showrunner Matt Olmstead tells THR. "So Brett is paired with someone who's a firecracker."

Burge will appear in the final three episodes of the season, beginning with Tuesday's new installment.

Burge's other credits include Dexter and Star-Crossed. She is repped by Paradigm and Authentic Talent.

Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
