Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) is about to go undercover — but there's a twist.

In Wednesday's episode of Chicago P.D., the Intelligence Unit begins investigating a series of gang-related child kidnappings. With a young boy's life on the line, the team discovers that the trail stems back to an Army ranger who served at the same time as Halstead.

So, naturally, Halstead offers to go undercover to get information from the suspect in The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive video

"I can connect with him," he tells Voight (Jason Beghe). However, Antonio (Jon Seda) and the Sgt. have very different opinions about whether to take Halstead up on his offer.
