Warner Bros. Television-based Chuck Lorre Productions has tapped a vp development.

Suzanne McCormack has been tapped to spearhead development and production of network and cable projects for CLP as it expands its programming.

In her new role, McCormack will be charged with generating potential series ideas, targeting specific titles and formats for acquisition and identifying writers and directors for collaboration. She'll work with creative talent through all stages of the development process and will prepare focused pitches and presentations tailored to specific network needs.

"Suzanne has been a valued part of the team here for many years, and I’ve come to rely on her in a deeply codependent way,” said Lorre.

McCormack will maintain her ongoing duties as coordinating producer on all CLP series including CBS' The Big Bang Theory, Mom and Mike & Molly. The exec became a coordinating producer on Lorre's Two and a Half Men and Big Bang in 2010 and added coordinating producer duties on Mom and Mike & Molly in 2013.

Before joining CLP, McCormack worked at WBTV and at CBS' The Early Show.

Lorre inked a rich four-year overall deal with WBTV in September 2012 that includes film and cable components.
