Talk about planning for the future: Conan O'Brien is setting up shop at Comic-Con in 2015.
TBS' Conan has booked a residency at the Spreckels Theater in downtown San Diego from July 8 to 12, 2015, tied to next year's annual geek convention.
This marks the first time a late-night talk show has been broadcast from the hugely popular Comic-Con event.
O'Brien is just coming off a weeklong stay in Dallas for four shows timed to the NCAA college basketball Final Four and National Championship games. Next, he will host Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.
Conan's Comic-Con announcement would mark the fifth straight year it has hit the road since debuting in 2010, previously broadcasting from New York City and Chicago.
