'Cosmos': David Semel Will Direct Fox Docu-Series

David Semel has been tapped to direct Fox’s upcoming docu-series Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey.

Semel will direct all 13 episodes of the project, which is designed to be a successor to Carl Sagan’s iconic 1980s PBS series.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is on board to produce, alongside Sagan’s widow, writer-producer Ann Druyan, and astrophysicist Steven Soter.
