'The Daily Show' Adds Jaboukie Young-White as Correspondent

The 'American Vandal' writer and stand-up comedian will make his debut on tonight's show.

Trevor Noah is adding to The Daily Show team. Comedian Jaboukie Young-White is the latest correspondent to board the Comedy Central series.

Young-White will make his debut on the show tonight with an in-studio desk piece. He joins current talking heads Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, Dulce Sloan and Roy Wood Jr.

Young-White (@jaboukie) is a comedy writer and filmmaker from Chicago who was most recently a staff writer on Netflix's American Vandal and a story editor on the streamer's animated comedy Big Mouth. He has also appeared in the Sony feature Rough Night and Netflix's rom-com Set It Up.

As far as stand-up goes, Young-White performed at the Comics to Watch showcase at the 2018 Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. He's also performed stand-up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon twice and can be seen on the upcoming season of HBO comedy Crashing.
