Ron Artest -- the Los Angeles Laker who recently legally changed his name to Metta World Peace -- explained his elimination from Dancing With the Stars on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night.

"This toe doesn’t work, this one does,” World Peace said. "Toes not working! But still I’m good, I’m good!”

World Peace, who came in last place on the ABC show on Monday with 14 points, added, "I was just expecting the judges to see the effort and the entertainment."

He thanked partner Peta Murgatroyd, a first-time pro on the show. “Wasn’t she amazing?” he told the audience as they applauded.
