Diablo Cody is pushing harder into television.

The Oscar winner (Juno) has signed a multiyear overall deal with Warner Bros. Television.

Under the pact, Cody will create and develop new projects for the independent studio.

The deal extends Cody's relationship with Peter Roth's WBTV following the studio's ABC comedy pilot Raised by Wolves. The Greg Berlanti-produced comedy about a tough mother (Georgia King) struggling to support her five kids on a shoestring budget in a Midwestern town narrowly missed a series pickup in May. The Craig T. Nelson-starrer was based on the U.K. series of the same name created by Caitlin Moran and Caroline Moran.

Cody's TV résumé includes creating Showtime's Toni Collette comedy United States of Tara, which also starred a young Brie Larson. She also co-created Amazon's Tig Notaro vehicle One Mississippi, which just released its second season. On the film side, her credits include penning the upcoming Barbie feature as well as Sweet Valley High and Ricki and the Flash. Cody is repped by WME, MXN Entertainment and McKuin Frankel.
