Discovery Channel Sets Premiere Date for Harley-Davidson Miniseries, Adds Three to Cast (Exclusive)

Discovery Channel has set a premiere date for its upcoming Harley-Davidson miniseries as it continues to beef up the cast.

Harley and the Davidsons is set to premiere on Monday, Sept. 5, with its first two-hour installment. Two additional two-hour installments will air over the next two nights, Tuesday, Sept. 6, and Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Meanwhile, three more actors have joined the cast of the scripted drama, which will tell the story of the birth of the iconic Harley-Davidson brand that launched in 1903 by two friends from Milwaukee: William Harley (Robert Aramayo) and Arthur Davidson (Bug Hall).

Gabe Luna (Wicked City, True Detective) has been cast in the role of Eddie Hasha, nicknamed the "Texas Cyclone," a notable American motorcycle racer.

Alex Shaffer (We Are Your Friends) has been cast as Shrimp Burns, one of the top dirt and board track motorcycle racers in the early 20th century.

Sean Scully will play the role of Walt Jr.

The cast also includes Michiel Huisman, Stephen Rider, Jessica Camacho, Daniel Coonan, Annie Read and Essa O'Shea. Production on the mini, from Raw Television, began this month.
