The actress actively is campaigning and constantly tweeting support, though not without controversy She angered Mitt Romney supporters by retweeting a quote calling him “racist” and “misogynistic” (She later deleted it and apologized).

Eva Longoria is teaming up with Universal Television.

The actress' production company, UnbeliEVAble Enteratinment, has inked a first-look development deal with the studio, it was announced Thursday by Paul Telegdy, president, alternative and late night programming, NBC Entertainment and Jennifer Salke, president, NBC Entertainment.

With the new deal, Longoria will serve as executive producer on projects through her company.

UnbeliEVAble is already behind NBC's upcoming dating series Ready for Love, which is also being produced by Universal TV and Renegade 83. Longoria, Jason Ehrlich, Greg Goldman, David Garfinkle and Jay Renfroe are the EPs.

Longoria is an executive producer on Lifetime's upcoming soap Devious Maids, which reteams her with Desperate Housewives boss Marc Cherry.

Longoria is repped by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment and Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette Feldman Schenkman & Goodman.
